Alexander Orthopaedic Associates is proud to announce the development of Laser Assisted Total Knee Arthroplasty/ Replacement (LATKA). LATKA was invented, developed and is exclusively distributed by Dr. Vladimir A. Alexander, the founding partner of Alexander Orthopaedic Associates.

LATKA uses laser lights/beams to help surgeons align cutting instruments in joint replacement surgery. The technology allows Dr. Alexander to implant your joint replacement with increased accuracy and precision.

LATKA at AOA is the only device of its kind. It is a completely new method of surgical guidance and navigation. As part of our commitment to education, Dr. Alexander hosts monthly seminars at our educational center (AEC Learning Center) to teach surgeons around the globe how to use LATKA to benefit their patients’ arthritic joints.
